Paramount Pictures Corporation (commonly known as Paramount Pictures and also known simply as Paramount) is an American film studio and subsidiary of ViacomCBS. It is the fifth oldest film studio in the world, the second oldest film studio in the United States, and the sole member of the "Big Five" film studios still located in the city limits of Los Angeles.

Nazar had a dispapointing experience with Paramount Pictures studio tour, here is what he had to say on Yelp, "No parking on site. They suggest you park across the street from Paramount Pictures studio for $15. If you drive 2 blocks away there is street parking. 1st street away is 2 hour parking. 2 streets away is no limit parking. Once inside before you begin you'll see a nice chalk board with 30 or so shows that they're filming at each sound stage but of course they'll only take you inside 1-2 sound stages that ARE NOT filming. One will probably be dr. Phil -- my wife was maybe sorta kinda excited about that, I couldn't care less. On the tour you'll hear lots of stories about Marlon Brando this, Lucy from I love Lucy that, someone else from 50s, this person from 30s. You really won't care. The end of the tour you end in a "warehouse" of props that has random props and is not really a "warehouse" just two rooms with sparsely placed items. All in all, the tour was completely underwhelming. For touring a studio, I really thought we'd see more, maybe someone actually filing something and us seeing it through a window or in the background, I mean we're touring a movie/tv studio. Instead we got a bunch of stories about who cares who. I would not recommend."

Promotions are nearly impossible, don't expect to move up here. Salary restrictions (don't expect even a standard cost of living raise). Work/Life balance is not something this company values (don't expect flexible hours as the company does not even provide laptops to give you that option. Women beware, this company doesn't value you."

"Despite being incredibly excited to land my internship, looking back at it, it was pointless and a complete waste of my time. It also didn't help with the fact my intern supervisor was actually incompetent and condescending. I get strong personalities are a part of working in entertainment but this individual was ridiculous. Furthermore, the fact this supervisor is still a part of the internship program is actually absurd. Additionally, the small department I worked for was a complete mess, and communication between all of them was terrible. I've held numerous internship positions, but even though this is the most recognizable company on my resume, my time with Paramount/this department was by far the WORST internship throughout my undergraduate career. Paramount is on the decline and I am happy I'm no longer a part of the company."

"Internal battle within IT of Paramount and VIACOM on who is the "boss". VIACOM IT div. was looking to continue to expand in agile, devops, etc. Paramount was in ITIL mode. Paramount management was clueless on the difference and were looking to provide ITIL services to an agile (VIACOM IT) org... Go figure!"

"20% lower pay scale than other major studios Horrible slate. The group I am in ( Home Entertainment) only issues bonuses to directors and above. Analysts, managers and senior managers don't get anything. Deals in place to give too much $ to producers and above the line where Paramount is set to lose money from the get-go. International business is a joke - no leadership, no clear directives on initiatives. No wonder Fox and Universal are taking over. Extremely hard to back-fill a position because Corporate Finance doesn't approve the headcount even though it is not a new opening , but rather to fill a position that someone LEFT."

"Turnover is unbelievable in the finance department. Those who stick it out are only there for a paycheck nothing else. Lots of gossiping and cliques in the office. Absolutely zero team morale. Everyone works by themselves and the managers seem under qualified for the manager title. It helps being a girl as the guy managers are sexist. Expect 10 to 12 hour days and false promises on promotion"

"Pay is considerately lower than other jobs of the same level in this area. Lack of management and training for employees really hurts the work environment. Promises made and "favors" are never kept. I would only recommend working here as a last resort because you need a job. "It is a good company to work in but it's very difficult to work your way up the ladder. There is not much support when it comes to work and a lot of information does not get shared which makes it difficult to do any job properly. Management is quite distant and relationships are hard to maintain. Co-workers, as much as people try to work together, it's difficult to trust each other. The hardest part of my job was always being sworn at and kept back in a position I wasn't allowed to move away from which was Reception. "In the website, service is offered as a premium company with a Lot of experience. The truth, i had a scheduled flight , and one day before 20:30 hrs. I received an email, not even a phone call, that they had to cancel because they didnt realized that the jet had a programed maintainance. No solutions offered, only that they wont give me the service eventhough paid and with a signed contract, unless i paid extra for a médium jet. Which i did. The didnt offered a solution for the Same price eventhough it was their responsability and mistake. If i know this 2 or 3 days before i easily booked another plane, but 14 hours before the flight, i would have expected a more professional service. Be careful, they dont Own airplanes, only charter, So, they dont have any control over this."

"I tried to charter but the documents have been very confusing, stating if I pay in advance, I don't need to have a credit card for deposit then I needed one. I paid the fee via the rather complicated money transfer but the money was not found anywhere and the plane could not be hold. 7 days later they "found" the money and returned it but took over $100 "processing fee" I think no movie plot could come up with such a terrible service. I see a lot of positive feedback but I just didn't. Sorry."
